COMPLETE IN HIM

For the past few months I have found myself praying in the Spirit concerning this topic. The truth is I have not how or for what to pray. Holy Spirit has been addressing the questions of my heart and this writing will speak to some answers that I have been receiving. The following is what I am presently seeing and hearing about our completeness in HIM. The questions of my heart revolved around the reality of the absence of power and authority that we are currently experiencing. The modern-day Ekklesia is suffering from a serious shortage of power and our spiritual signature appears to be getting weaker. In a time when we cannot afford to be devoid of power, we need to seriously consider the long-term effect of our prolonged condition and what it will mean to future generations if we flat-line. This is a CODE-BLUE moment for those of us who are awake, aware and on active duty.

Things to consider: The following passage of Scripture contains some elements that have been spoken, are speaking and will speak to the Ekklesia over the centuries. I believe that we can locate ourselves in the Ekklesia of ‘Brotherly Love’ where we will find ourselves severely weakened due to the reality that the adversary has exploited every opportunity to take advantage of our ignorance, fear and disobedience. He has also kept us troubled, beat-down and distracted by hardship and persecution. He has worked through religion and politics to keep us separated, segregated and divided. The defeated one knows that if we ever come into agreement around the prayer of Yahshua in John 17 that the world is going to know that Yahshua is come and that Yahweh sent Him to save the world. He is also fully aware of the POWER of AGREEMENT and what it means for us to be UNITED. We are living in a time when we must pull down the strong-holds of human reasoning that have been primarily responsible for creating barriers, boundaries and buttresses between those who would make up the Global, National and Regional community of believers.

Revelation 3: 7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly!

Note: Holy Spirit recently spoke to me and and said, “because you have kept my Word, I will Keep you no matter what comes.” As I pondered what He was saying to me, I heard my Spirit say back to Him, “I really have not kept that much; but you have surely kept me all these years.” His love and grace is beyond comprehension.

Note: Please bear with me as I point out a real nugget contained in this passage of Scripture. Remember, this letter was written to the Ekklesia of ‘Brotherly Love’ and there is no way of knowing exactly when it was delivered. My point is, part of the promise that Holy Spirit made to the Ekklesia of ‘Brotherly Love’ was that HE was coming quickly. One might suppose that either Yahshua was mistaken or He misspoke about His return. However, I do not believe for a minute that He was mistaken or misspoke because He has, is and will come to us in the future. He came to His disciples after His resurrection and appeared to 500 plus people over an extended period of time. There were eye-witnesses to his coming, appearing and ascending. There is no doubt in my mind that He returned a second time in the form of HOLY SPIRIT on the Day of Pentecost. That day, His Ekklesia was born and His Kingdom was established forever.

Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My Elohim, (Yahweh) and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My Elohim (Yahweh) and the name of the city of My Elohim, (Yahweh) the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My Elohim. (Yahweh) And I will write on him My new name. (Yahshua)

On June 14, 2015, I will be entering into my 45th year of service to the King and I cannot remember a time that I questioned the validity of the Scripture or what Holy Spirit is saying. I have had questions for which I sought answers; but as of late, I have found myself questioning things that should be our present reality.

Questions: 1). When is the last time we saw someone come to a saving knowledge of the truth based on our personal testimony or witness? 2). When is the last time we healed the sick, raised the dead or cast out devils? 3). For that matter, how long has it been since we saw a supernatural intervention of any kind? 4). If healing and deliverance are not a part of the full comprehensive plan of salvation, then how can we trust the coverage at any level?

Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Sovereign Yahshua Messiah who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Messiah, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Yahshua Messiah to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

{We are the blessed, chosen and holy sons of Yahweh, who have inherited every spiritual blessing in heavenly places and we are accepted in the beloved}

Ephesians 2:4-7 But Yahweh, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Messiah (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Messiah Yahshua, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Messiah Yahshua.

{He made us alive together. He raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Messiah Yahshua}

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Yahshua Messiah;

{The work that He has begun in us will not be completed until the Daystar arises in our hearts, and we come into a better understanding of the finished work of Yahshua, as well as the consummation of all things} 2 Peter 1:18-20

Colossians 2:9-11 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Messiah,

Colossians 2:10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. ESV

{Understanding who we are in Him together is the consummation of all things, the fellowship of the brotherhood, and the mystery revealed. We are the body of Messiah, the bright and Morning Star. We are the fullness of Messiah to this generation, and we are making known the manifold wisdom of Yahweh to the principalities and powers in heavenly places. Our corporate expression is a testimony of the resurrection power of Yahshua, and it is a witness against the forces of darkness. Our very presence is a reminder that their reign has ended, and the day of Yahshua (the SON) is come. We are complete in Him}

Note; Salvation, Healing and Deliverance are a part of the full comprehensive plan of salvation. If healing and deliverance are not a part of the plan, then how can we truly trust the coverage at any level? (We can’t)

However, everything we need can and will be discovered in the body of Messiah. We cannot be made whole or complete apart from the body of Messiah, the corporate SON, the many-membered MAN. Simply put, we need one another in order to glorify Him in the all the earth, and thereby fulfill the practical will and purpose of Yahweh for our lives.

We are living in a time when we must begin to realize that we are not directly connected to the head of the Ekklesia. Yahshua is the head of the Ekklesia and we are a part of His body. His head is not sitting on each of our shoulders and unless we find one another in Him we will eventually die alienated and isolated from Him and His people. Failing to properly discern the body of Messiah will result in more weakness, sickness and death. We can no longer afford to partake of His body and blood in a way that dishonors the communion we have in Him.

Colossians 2: 8-10 watch out for people who try to dazzle you with big words and intellectual double-talk. They want to drag you off into endless arguments that never amount to anything. They spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstitions of spirit beings. But that’s not the way of Christ. Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything. TMGB

II Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of Yahweh, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Yahweh may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now may the Elohim of peace who brought up our Sovereign Yahshua from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Yahshua Messiah, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

FATHERS – YOU HAVE NOT MANY

1 Corinthians 4:15 You may have countless Christian guardians, but you don’t have many spiritual fathers. I became your father in the Christian life by telling you the Good News about Christ Jesus. GW

The above passage of Scripture suggest that while we have a number of elder brothers and friends who may speak into our lives at some level, we do not have many spiritual fathers who watch for our souls. There are those among us who believe that we can only have one spiritual father at a time, while there are others believe that we can only have one spiritual father in our lifetime. Spiritual fathers are emissaries who have been sent to represent the WAY of the FATHER’S heart to us. They provide oversight and may be directly or indirectly responsible for us being birthed into the Kingdom. They are master builders and equippers who are helping us discover our destiny as sons of the Kingdom.

Ephesians 6:4 – Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. ESV

NOTE: This scenario is based on a generally accepted understanding of the above passage of Scripture. It is not intended to be used to browbeat and pressure those of us who have not had the privilege of having a father/son relationship with a true spiritual father. It is obvious to me, that we would not be where we are today if it had not been for the FATHER’S direct influence over our mutual destinies. By Divine Providence and our ability to continue to hear and obey His voice, He has brought us to this place in order to hear together what He has been saying all along.

“This are my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him.”

That being said, I would caution us not to make little of any or all of the ways and means by which the YAHWEH has been working in us HIS will to do His good pleasure. More of us than not,may never have a father/son relationship with a true spiritual father; but by the love and grace of Yahweh we will be able to come under the FATHER’S hand where we will learn freedom in the yoke.

Romans 8:14- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

“It is every sons responsibility to Catch and Embrace the Father’s Spirit and Heart in their lifetime”

“A spiritual father is nothing more than a mature son who was discipled by an elder brother who understands the way of the Father’s heart.”

Father – patér: (pat-ayr’) a father – one who imparts life and is committed to it; a progenitor, bringing into being to pass on the potential for likeness.

patér – is used of our heavenly Father. He imparts life, from physical birth to the gift of eternal life through the second birth (regeneration, being born again). Through ongoing sanctification, the believer more and more resembles their heavenly Father – i.e. each time they receive faith from Him and obey it, which results in their unique glorification.

patér – (“father”) refers to a begetter, originator, progenitor – one in “intimate connection and relationship”

Ephesians 6:2-3 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

We are living in a time when the fabric and foundation of our society and civilization has been frayed and severely damaged. It is troubling to think that we have now lived long enough to see the sanctity of marriage and family redefined on our watch. Much of the degeneration and degradation has been a direct result of violating the above commandment. Many of the millennias of this generation (18 to 31 years of age) have been brought up in an orphan culture, and that without the nurturing acceptance of a mother or the affirmation of a loving father. Most of them have no direction or purpose and for the most part have cast off restraint as it pertains to values and morals.

The good news is, for some time the hearts of the fathers have been turning to the children and now we are beginning to see the hearts of children gradually turning to receive those who are being sent to them. It is my hope that we live long enough to see this generation recovered from the precipice of absolute destruction. For those of us who are coming into a better understanding of the consummation of all things, it is expedient that we begin to become aware of the needs of the the orphans and widows of our worlds. A big part of what we will be doing in the future will involve looking for those who are looking for us and reaching to the unreached in order to discern where they are in the process. Trust me when I say, interruption, interfering and intervention will be a part of the work in which we are engaged in the near future. The number of those who are becoming disenfranchised from all religious persuations are growing in ever-increasing numbers, and they are going to be looking for the connection of family.

1 Timothy 5:17 – Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

As a tribute to all the fathers of the faith who are and have represented the WAY of the FATHER’S heart to generations past, present and future, we say thank you from the depths of our heart. Words cannot adequately express the gratitude we feel concerning your faithful service to the King and His Domain. The testimony of your witness will give us the hope to carry on as a part your living legacy. You have gone before us and some of you have passed on to your reward; but we will continue in your stead until such time we can be reunited in eternity. It is and was and honor to have known and served with you. Your life-long work will not be forgotten and your name will spoken on the lips of many generations to come. Blessings!

P.S. Your example taught us that making a difference is not optional, and our worlds will never be the same because of it. Thanks again…

APOSTOLIC HUBS, CENTERS AND OTHER VENUES

For the past few months I have been seeing something that I perceive to be what the Father is doing in this locale and region. Some of what I am seeing is based on my personal observation, and that is predicated upon a Kingdom perspective of what I presently hear the Father saying. I realize that it will not be anything new to those of us who have are open, alert and attentive; but it may be something that others of us have not considered in light of following understanding. Therefore, I humbly submit the following insights and musing for your prayerful consideration. Blessings!

Then answered Jesus and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever he does, these also does the Son likewise. John 5:19 AKJV

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. John 12:49 AKJV

The terms Apostolic hub and center have become a part of our vocabulary and language over the past 25 years; but it appears that we are still receiving a truncated message as it pertains to understanding and embracing the Father’s heart concerning what He is saying and doing. I realize that the prophetic often speaks to things that they are seeing and hearing long before the reality comes into view. However, we seem to have a difficult time processing the information that we are receiving concerning what it means to be an apostolic hub or center.

On June 14 2015, I will be entering into my 45th year of service to the King. To be honest with you, I am extremely excited about being a part of the ongoing work in this hour and for the first time in my life, I can see all of us crossing the finish line together.

What if I told you that every locale where His people reside is an apostolic hub and center of spiritual activity. Whenever I hear someone say that their city and region represents an apostolic hub, it makes me nervous because I know what is coming next. Most of the time they will follow up that statement with the declaration that their ministry and house is an apostolic center. BLESS OUR HEARTS…LORD HELP US!

That being said, what I am seeing and hearing is, there are RESTAURANTS and OTHER community based gathering places that represent apostolic centers in our perspective hubs, and they are where Yahweh’s people are gathering for fellowship.
They are not gathering for fellowship in places that have been designated “houses of worship.“ Houses of worship should be about family reunion and corporate expression of worship; but they are more like listening to a presentation offer for a time-share or condo vacation package. 🙂

The people of our regions are fellowshipping around covenant meals in the marketplace and these places represent hubs and centers of the community. There are several RESTAURANTS in each of our locales and regions that would make a great place for fellowship, breaking bread and Kingdom relationship building. They are places where believers and the people of our worlds come together for fellowship. They are places where people share life in common. They are places where people are connecting at a deeper level, while sharing thoughts and ideas with people who may have never benefited from knowing them personally.

The marketplace is where you are going to find people who are looking for you. Stop looking for love and acceptance in all the wrong places. Start thinking and living outside the box. Go praying, be open, alert and attentive. Someone is looking for you and their life may very well depend upon making a connection with you. Keep reaching for the unreached in order to gauge their progress. Make it a point to stay in touch with those whom Yahweh has given you, as well as those to whom you are sent. The people whom you should be fellowshipping are looking for you and they are within your reach. Stop struggling over one-sided, short-sighted relationships and start meeting new people in your locale and region today.

I GO A FISHING

For the past few days I have been prayerfully considering how eerily quite things are right now in the Spirit. The silence is almost deafening and that in a time when we need a clear channel and open line of communication. I realize that this statement may sound strange in light of how noisy things are in the world around us, and it appears that our worlds may be flying apart at the seams as the fabric of our society is begin torn apart.

That being said, Yahweh is impressing upon many of His sons the importance of to coming together in unity. We need to position ourselves to continue to hear and obey His voice as we begin to fully embrace the Father’s heart concerning our oneness. We Are One. There is One Sovereign, Faith and Baptism. The House that Yahshua has and is building is the Father’s House and it is made up of sons, brothers and friends. We are sons of the same Father and brothers of the same
family.

In times like these we are tempted to hold to what we know to be true, while leaning on authority of experience. When we are not able to ascertain what the Father is saying and doing we have a tendency to pretend that we have a handle on everything by saying and doing something that comes natural. Our soul does not like silence and our flesh gets impatient when things are quite.

The following passage of Scripture speaks to what happens when we resort to doing something that comes natural before we know what the Father is saying and doing.

Peter was more than confused and troubled in His Spirit after the death and burial of Yahshua and he did not fully understand what was going on. His soul did not want to accept the reality that Yahshua was gone and He may not be coming back any time soon. This story reveals that Peter was some upset over what had happened so he decided to do something that came natural. He knew how to catch fish, or so he thought. However, his decision to go fishing influenced some other brothers and they all fished all night for nothing. The good news is, you-know-who showed up the next morning and He was already cooking breakfast.

We have all been right there, more than once. Some of us are there right now. Nothing is happening and we are licking our index finger and pointing upward in order to determine which direction the wind in blowing. What is the Father saying and doing is the question? Need I remind us that whatever He is saying will not return unto Him void, and whatever He is doing will accomplished His intended purpose?

Note: If we are in a holding pattern or a spiritual time-out, it is because He is waiting for us to properly discern the time and season before engaging. The beautiful part about this time and season is we will grow to trust Him with our life and future, and we will become more sensitive and attentive to what He is presently saying and doing. We are not obligated to say of do anything that He is not saying and doing. In times like these we can preach, teach and quote Scripture until we are blue in the face, and that to no avail. In times like these we can do what comes natural; but nothing lasting will come of our efforts in the end.

Questions:

May I suggest what the Father is presently saying and doing may or may not have anything to do with what He has already said and done?

May I suggest that making more noise and jumping higher is not going to change the fact that when we are all out of breath and to weak to stand, nothing productive will have been accomplished?

Note: Patiently waiting is not something that comes natural. We live in a push button, automatic society, and we want it NOW. Instantaneous satisfaction and results.

Simon Peter said to them, I go a fishing. They say to him, We also go with you. They
went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
AKJV

The Rest of the Story:

After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to them, “Children, do you have any fish?”They answered him, “No.” He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off. When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire in place, with fish laid out on it, and bread. Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.” So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, 153 of them. And although there were so many, the net was not torn. Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the   d disciples after he was raised from the dead. When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son
of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep. Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.”(This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, “Follow me Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them, the one who also had leaned back against him during the supper and had said, “Lord, who is it that is going to betray you?”When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?”Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me! ”So the saying spread abroad among the brothers that this disciple was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?”This is the disciple who is bearing witness about these things, and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true. Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.John 21:1-25 ESV
