The Fellowship of the Mystery

  • Concerning the fellowship of the mystery of the brotherhood and our ONENESS in Messiah Yahshua.

Ephesians 3:1-12 For this reason I, Paul, am the prisoner of Jesus Christ (Yahshua Messiah) for you Gentiles. You may have heard of the administration (stewardship NASB) of the grace of God (Elohim) which was given me for you, how by revelation He made known to me the mystery, as I have written briefly already, by which, when you read it, you may understand my knowledge of the mystery of Christ(Messiah),  which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, how the Gentiles are fellow heirs, and fellow members, and partakers of the promise in Christ (Messiah) by the gospel. Of this I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God (Elohim) given to me by the effective working of His power. To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the incomprehensible riches of Christ (Messiah), and to reveal for all people what is the fellowship (administration NASB) of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God (Yahweh), who created all things through Jesus Christ (Yahshua Messiah),  so that now the manifold wisdom of God (Yahweh) might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He completed in Christ Jesus our Lord, (Messiah Yahshua our Sovereign) in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. MEV

  • Administration = The way forward

“In essentials unity, in non-essentials, diversity; in all things, charity or love”

1). The first part has to do with what it really means to be a believer and follower of Yahshua. (Essentials)

Note: The reason that we still have a problem with understanding the fellowship of the mystery is because we are content with only embracing those who look, sound and act like us.

2). The second part has to do with perspectives, preferences and persuasions. (Non-Essentials)

Note: The truth is, we will never understand the fellowship of the mystery until we are willing to embrace those who don’t look, sound or act like us.

3). The third part has to do with receiving one another in love with grace and consideration. (In all things)

Note: While many of us claim to love the brotherhood we are still separated and divided by walls, barriers and buttresses.

1). If we really agree with the prayer of Yahshua in John 17:23, and we fully embrace the Father’s heart concerning our oneness, how can we then continue to be divided over non-essentials?

2). If we truly love one another as He love us, how can we allow ourselves to be separated by disunity.

{Unless and until we are willing to relate beyond our petty differences, nothing much will change about our lives together in Him. Diversity is the spice of life and unity cannot be achieved without controversy, conflict, concession & compromise. Simply put, we need one another, and we are better together.}

“The things that unite us are more important than the things that divide us”

Note: The short list below are things that we have in common and it behooves all of us to find points of agreement around which we can begin to fellowship and relate with one another…

  • We are ALL part of the New Creation or we are NOT! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
  • Yahshua (Jesus) is Sovereign (Lord) or He is NOT! (1 Corinthians 12:1-3)
  • He has given us the Ministry of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-21)
  • There is ONE BODY and ONE SPIRIT, just as also you were called in ONE HOPE of your calling; ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD and FATHER of ALL who is over ALL and through ALL and in ALL. (Ephesians 4:4-6)
