The Twelve-Fold Ministry of Yahshua

5 – Doma Ministry Gifts of Yahshua to the Ekklesia.
Ephesians 4:11-16
7 – Charisma Supportive Ministry Gifts and Annointings of Yahshua to the Ekklesia.
1 Corinthians 12:1-8 & 28-31
TEACHING = Confirming, Complementing, Supporting
GIVING = Sharing, Prosperity, Distribution
RULING = Administrations
PROPHECY = Bring forth prophetic utterances
EXHORTATION = Encouraging. edifying
MERCY = Speaking the truth in love, showing compassion
Note: The truth is, unless and until we fully embrace the Father’s heart concerning Ephesians 4:1-6, we will only see a modicum of success in the ongoing work of equipping the saints for the works of service, and the reality that we will all come into the unity of the faith will be deterred and delayed indefinitely.
Note: We may very well not live long enough to see all those who make up the global community of believers come into the unity of the faith in our lifetime. That being said, we should be able to make the way easier for those who will become the next generation of sons, brothers and friends.
Note: Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “I am raising up and maturing fathers and mothers of the faith and they will be able to help those who are now awakening to sonship become all they can be in me. However, only those who are now awakening to sonship will be able to receive and embrace those whom I have sent.” Selah!
Note: Stop wasting your time on high maintance, low impact relationships and allow them to be chastised and corrected by Yahweh. What that means is, you may have to put on hold and walk away from some relationships until such time destiny brings you back together in life.
However, it also means that you must be able to receive and embrace those who are being sent to you for the purpose of fulfilling the practical will and purpose of Yahweh for your life.

WE ARE ONE – Part Two

By Blake Higginbotham

The Authentic vs The Fictional Man

Note: Our true identity can only be discovered through a real and living relationship with YAHSHUA the Messiah and one another. He is the pattern SON and the express image of YAHWEH.

He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high, Hebrews 1:3 AMP

For it was fitting for Him, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through suffering. Hebrews 2:10 MEV

“Sonship is our destiny and our inheritance is wrapped up in discovery.”

“There is nothing greater than sonship.”

For we are Yahweh’s masterpiece, created in the Messiah Yahshua to perform good actions that Yahweh prepared long ago to be our way of life. Ephesians 2:10 ISV

“We are progressively remembering who we were in creation, before formation.”
Now the Lord is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, seeing the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, as in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 MEV
Note: Identifying with the religion of Christianity in others does not adequately speak to the intrinsic value or corporate worth of our oneness in Him.

Together ‘To-Gather’ – into or in one gathering, company, mass, place or body

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Romans 12:4-5 ESV

For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ.

There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26-28 AMP

WE ARE ONE – Part One

By Blake Higginbotham

The following passage of scripture is a part of the prayer that Yahshua prayed in John 17 and it speaks of His desire for us to be one in the Father and the Son. The truth is it could have been one of the last prayers that Yahshua prayed just prior to His passion and it is still being fulfilled today through the lives of those who are coming together for His greater Kingdom purpose.

In the Eternal Now His prayer is being answered by those who have chosen to embrace the Father’s heart concerning our oneness. However, our oneness will not be fully realized apart from our agreement, acknowledgment and a willingness to work together to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

John 17: 21 – that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. NASB

Ephesians 4:3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. NKJV

In order to acknowledge that we are one in the Spirit we must agree to love one another. Loving one another will involve walking in humility, patience and longsuffering. Our capacity to love one another is directly proportionate with having received the full embrace of the Father’s love and forgiveness, and we are inexorably held together by the bond of peace.

Colossians 3:12-15 Therefore, as the elect of Yahweh, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Messiah forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of Yahweh rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. NKJV

Spiritual agreement is an important part of our coming together in Him and acknowledging the reality our oneness will help move us closer to enjoying the life changing benefits of real and living relationship. However, in order to move from agreement in principal to the truly acknowledging our oneness in Him we must be willing to deal in truth with our own hearts concerning why we are divided in the first place. Based on the discovery of truth we must be willing to pull down the strongholds of human reasoning in our own hearts and minds, and that for the purpose of honestly embracing one another in the ongoing work of the ministry of Yahshua. Moving forward, true heart-felt repentance and lasting change in the way we think and interact with one another will be part of the foundation for developing lasting relationships beyond our present level of understanding.

Note: I am concerned that our move to agree with the prayer of Yahshua and fully embrace the Father’s heart concerning our unity will be limited to our own preconceived notions of how we should be together. It is my hope that we will consider all of the many possibilities available to us and come into agreement with what the Father is saying and doing in this hour. Our coming together in Him should not be limited to venues and arenas to which we have grown accustom, and our considerations should include responding to what Holy Spirit is obviously orchestrating. Forsaking not the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is involves recognizing what He is putting together in the moment. We must be willing to adjust our schedules and even forego our plans in order to embrace and respond to what He is saying and doing in the moment.

Note: If ten seconds in the presence of Yahweh is worth more than a lifetime of meeting and gathering, then it behooves all of us to aware of the reality of His movement at all times. Part of seeking the face of Yahshua will include learning to listen and being acutely aware of which direction His head is turning. Case in point, if His head is turning and looking in one direction and we insist on looking in another direction, it won’t be long until we feel as though He is moving away from us. My concern is, we are still trying to limit His movement to what we are willing to see about our being together in Him.

Note: We are free to worship whenever, wherever and with whomever we choose. We are not obligated to worship with any one expression of the body of Messiah in our locale. Our allegiance is to the King and His domain. Nothing more, nothing less!

Note: All of creation is groaning and travailing for the full manifestation of the sons of Yahweh. It is not waiting for the advent of the second coming of Messiah. Yahshua has, is and will continue to come to those who are the called according to His purpose. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and prized possession of Yahweh. We are not waiting for Him to return. He is waiting for us to show up, so He can appear.

“Where two or three of you are gathered together in My name, there I am in the midst of you.”

“Fear not little flock, it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom”

Father, we choose by our own free will to be a part of answering your call to unity. We are in agreement with the prayer that Yahshua prayed in John 17 and are answering His prayer in the way we love and relate to one another. We also choose by our own free will to fully embrace the Father’s heart concerning Ephesians 4:3. We are one, and there is one Lord, one faith and one baptism. In other words, Yahshua is Sovereign. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and we have been baptized into the everlasting covenant of the Kingdom. So it is!

Philippians 2:1-4 MSG

If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care — then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand. Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself.

Note: There are over 20 references recorded in the Scripture that instruct us to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

John 13:34-35 MEV

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Romans 12:9-16 MEV

Let love be without hypocrisy. Hate what is evil. Cleave to what is good. Be devoted to one another with brotherly love; prefer one another in honor, do not be lazy in diligence, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord, rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer, contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Do not pretend to be wiser than you are.

1 Peter 4:8-11 MEV

Above all things, have unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without complaining. As everyone has received a gift, even so serve one another with it, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone serves, let him serve with the strength that God supplies, so that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 John 3:14-17 MEV

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love his brother remains in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him. By this we know the love of God: that He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. Whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, but closes his heart of compassion from him, how can the love of God remain in him?

Note: It does not say put up with or tolerate one another. It does not say get along if we feel like it. It does not say loving one another is optional and contingent upon anything else.

1 John 4:11-16 MEV

Beloved, if God so loved us, we must also love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us. We know that we live in Him, and He in us, because He has given us His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him, and he in God. And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

True Shepherds Arising

by Blake Higginbotham

“I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the LORD.

The past season has been about stripping, gutting and crushing for many of His sons. It has been a time of plucking up, pulling down and overthrowing the houses and kingdoms of men. It has been about shaking everything that can be shaken in order to expose the structural integrity of what is being built. It has been about discovering who we are and are not in Him. It has been about becoming who we were predestined to be before the foundation of the world.

1 Corinthians 3:10-15 – According to the grace of God which has been given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, but another builds on it. Now let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no one can lay another foundation than that which was laid, which is Jesus Christ.  Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or stubble, each one’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each has done. If anyone’s work which he has built on the foundation endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss. But he himself will be saved, still going through the fire. MEV

Hebrews 12:25-29 See that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused Him who spoke on earth, much less shall we escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven. At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has given us a promise, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.” And this statement, “Yet once more,” signifies the removal of those things that can be shaken, things that are created, so that only those things that cannot be shaken will remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be moved, let us be gracious, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire. MEV

The dark night of the soul for some is coming to an end, for others it is just getting beginning. No matter where we find ourselves in this hour we are learning the importance of being obedient by the things we are suffering.

We are learning to hear and obey His voice and live in and out of His rest. We will continue to descend, go down and become of no reputation until such time we arise, emerge and come forth the glorious bride of Messiah.

“All that we have become apart from him is dying or being systematically killed off by the Father.”

The way forward is to resolve to evolve. Change is coming and as agents of change we are the glory bringing hope to the worlds in which we live.

“The way out of the wilderness is not a path…it’s a journey”

The process involves death, burial and resurrection. We cannot enjoy the ascended life unless we are willing to go through the process. Shalom!

Note: A large segment of those who make up this generation are looking for approval and validation; but they have settled for acceptance and appreciation. Acceptance and appreciation are directly related to a mother’s love and affection, while approval and validation are directly related to a Father’s love and affirmation, and they are byproducts of a real and living relationship with THE FATHER. I believe it would be safe to say that the majority of those who make up this generation have been over exposed to the gift and grace of the pastor. (The Mother’s Love) and they are still looking for the gift and grace of the Father’s love in those who represent mature sons, brothers and friends.

What I am presently seeing and hearing about this season has to do with the emergence of true ‘poimen’ shepherds who are arising from within our midst. If what I am seeing and hearing is correct, they are presently being processed and they will begin to step out of the shadows of those with whom they have been serving and following for a very long time. Some of them will be ‘spiritual mothers’ who have made themselves ready to serve and care for the young and immature sons of this orphan culture. In the days ahead it will become clear to all who know them that they have been fully commissioned and reassigned to serve as true shepherds in Israel.

Shepherd – poimḗn – properly, a shepherd (“pastor” in Latin); (figuratively) someone who the Lord raises up to care for the total well-being of His flock (the people of the Lord).

“We are all shepherds in Israel; but we may very well have different assignments.”

Note: This revelation is based on what I am presently seeing and hearing and it may or may not be broadly accepted in your specific situation in life. It should not be misconstrued as either a specific statement of faith or a time sensitive mandate. I am simply reporting and recording what I am presently seeing and hearing about this time and season.

“The sons, though they be female, will no longer be penalized because of their plumbing.”

Note: The governing bylaws of the boys club has been amended in order to include the nurturing love of spiritual mothers and expand the membership base. In some respects they are better equipped to handle and care for this generation of orphans than the most educated and qualified servant leader.

The Pathway to UNITY!

“Loving one another is the only way forward and upward.”

1). We must be willing to deal in truth with our own hearts concerning things that continue to separate and divide us.

2). We must be willing to pull down the strongholds of human reasoning in our own hearts and minds.

Note: That will involve a true change of heart concerning the real or imagined barriers and walls that exists between us. The truth is there are no real boundaries or borders in the King’s Domain.

Ephesians 2 – IN HIM WE ARE ONE NEW MAN.

We are made alive together…We are raised together and we are seated together in Heavenly Places in Messiah Yahshua.

Note: The historically entrenched prince devil that oppresses this land, will not give up one inch of ground until it is summarily challenged and displaced by the power of corporate agreement.

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19 MEV

3). We must be willing to embrace the Christ in every believer and identify with the son in every true disciple.

Note: We are sons of the same Father and brothers of the same Family.

“Sonship is our destiny and our inheritance is wrapped up in discovery.”

4). We must be willing to relate beyond our petty differences until such time we can celebrate the significance of every part.

5). We must be willing to make room for differing opinions and view them as an opportunity to grow beyond the comfort zone of our present positions.

6). We must be willing to fully embrace the Father’s heart concerning our ONENESS and refuse to continue to posture ourselves like we are a group of autocratic elitist.

In light of all this, here’s what I want you to do. While I’m locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences. You were all called to travel on the same road and in the same direction, so stay together, both outwardly and inwardly. You have one Master, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who rules over all, works through all, and is present in all. Everything you are and think and do is permeated with Oneness. Ephesians 4:1-6 MSG

Real & Living Relationship

Practical wisdom concerning developing real and living relationships

1). All relationship starts with fellowship.

2). Real and living relationship is a two way street that is teeming with life and mutual benefit.

3). When hearing the heart of others becomes more important than hearing ourselves talk, the way we relate will change.

4). Sharing our lives with others will guarantee that it will continue beyond our expiration date.

5). Birthed by the Spirit, Nurtured by Grace and Established by Love

Note: Unless and until we are willing to relate beyond our petty differences, nothing much will change about our lives together. Diversity is the spice of life and unity cannot be achieved without controversy, conflict, concession and compromise. Simply put, we need one another, and we are better together.

The Church – Ekklesia – Kingdom

‘The house that Yahshua has and is building’

The Ekklesia started with one man being sown into the earth. Out of that man came a seed. Out of that seed came a family/tribe. Out of that family/tribe came a community/society. Out of that community/society came a regional work. Yahshua, the pattern SON represents that MAN. He is the pattern son and the house that He has and is building is His Father’s house. We represent the Global, International, National, Regional, and Local Community of Believers. WE are sons of the same Father and brothers of the same FAMILY.

How Does Yahweh Speak To His Sons Today?

One of the primary things that sets Yahweh apart from all other gods is He communicates with those who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

John 4:23-24 “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” ESV

  •  Spirit to spirit communication with our Father is an important part of our daily lives.
  • Hearing and obeying is a basic, fundamental part of the FAITH.

He communicates with His sons in various ways; but most of the time it is by the Word or Witness of the Spirit.

Hebrews 1:1-5 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”? Or again, “I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”? ESV

Note: Yahweh always spoke directly to the people with whom he entered into covenant.

“Yahweh spoke to Noah, saying” (Genesis 8:15).

  • “Yahweh spoke to Abram…” (Genesis 12:1).
  • “Yahweh said to Moses…” (Exodus 24:12).
  • “Then came the word of Yahweh to Isaiah…” (Isaiah 38:4)

Yahweh spoke by His LAW and PROPHETS…

Yahweh spoke by His SON…

Yahweh speaks by His Spirit…

Yahweh speaks by the revelation of the Scripture, both older and newer testaments of the Bible…

Yahweh speaks by the word and witness of Holy Spirit…

Yahweh speaks by prophetic utterance, words of knowledge and wisdom…

Yahweh speaks by angels & other messengers

Yahweh speaks by signs, wonders & miracles…

Yahweh speaks by dreams, visions & images…

Yahweh speaks by thoughts, impressions & ideas…

Yahweh speaks by creation, nature and unexplained events…

Yahweh speaks by inner knowing, circumstances & silence…

Note: What He is not saying can be as important as what He has already said.

Note: Yahweh speaks all the time, but our ability to hear what He is saying is dependent upon how aware and attentive we are at the time. In other words, He is always broadcasting, but we may or may not be receiving the simal-cast.

Matthew 10:18-20 – and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them and the Gentiles.  When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.  For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. ESV

John 14:26-27 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. ESV

John 16:7-8, 13 Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.  And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. ESV

 Ref. (Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 2:9-16; Acts 8:29; 13:2)

Yahshua said, “My sheep know My voice and I know them, and the follow Me.”. (John 10:27)

Based on my present understanding of the eternal now, Yahweh is saying the same thing, at the same time, to all of His sons around the world. The only difference is how what He is saying is being processed. What they are hearing may vary, but His message is the same.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. ESV

Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. ESV

Conclusion: His sons need a good working knowledge of the written word (that which was spoken) in order to be able to recognize when He is speaking to us today. Therefore, it is expedient for us to prayerfully read the scripture for understanding of the Father’s heart. How He chooses to reveal His heart to us will vary based on our ability to hear His voice and obey His Word. Our reward will be in knowing we have accurately represented His heart and way. Selah!

Spiritual Growth & Development

The following represents seven different levels of spiritual growth and development

  •  Spiritual Encounters: Unexplainable spiritual experiences that identify that there is more to life than the natural or explainable. (Realizing that the natural realm is only one plain of existence)

  John 4:6-10 ESV

Jacob’s well was there; so Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.” (For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.) Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

  •  Spiritual Awakening: Realizing that we are spiritual beings and that we need to know and be joined to our creator.

John 4:13-21 ESV

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”  The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.”  Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”  The woman answered him, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You are right in saying, ‘I have no husband’; for you have had five husbands, and the one you now have is not your husband. What you have said is true.”  The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.

  • Spiritual Revival: When we come to a saving knowledge of the truth. (When we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths Yahshua the Messiah)

John 4:25-30 ESV

The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”  Just then his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, “What do you seek?” or, “Why are you talking with her?” So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?” They went out of the town and were coming to him.

Romans 10:8-10 ESV

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

James 1:21-22 ESV

Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

  •  Spiritual Restoration: When we begin to understand who we are in Yahshua and begin to realize the blessing and favor of Yahweh. We begin to discover our destiny.

John 3:5-8 ESV

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’  The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Acts 2:38-40 ESV

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”

Romans 8:1-4 ESV

Where is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

  • Spiritual Sonship: When by revelation we come into a living, interactive relationship with Yahweh that identifies us as His own. When our identity is found in who we are in Him.

Romans 8:1-4, 14-16 ESV

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

Philippians 2:13-16 ESV

for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.  Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. Spiritual Maturity: When the development of our character and spirit man exceeds the importance we place on operating in our gifting and anointing.

When representation by referral becomes more important than honor or recognition, then we are mature.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 ESV

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you,   and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”

2 Corinthians 7:1 ESV

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

Galatians 4:4-7 ESV

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

Hebrews 12:5-8 ESV

And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.  For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.”  It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

1 John 3:1-3 ESV

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

  •  Spiritual Maturity: When the development of our character and spirit man exceeds the value we place on operating in our gifting and anointing. When representation by referral becomes more important than honor or recognition.

Luke 6:40 ESV

A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.

Ephesians 4:13-14 ESV

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 4:1-5 ESV

I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

  • Spiritual Fathering: When we represent the father’s heart in the way we love, serve and care for those to whom we are sent, we will be ready to provide oversight and watch for the souls of the sons of Yahweh.

Acts 13:32-33 ESV

And we bring you the good news that what God promised to the fathers, this he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second Psalm, “‘You are my Son, today I have begotten you.’

Malachi 4:5-6 ESV

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”

Hebrews 12:9-11 ESV

Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

 1 Corinthians 4:15-17 ESV

For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel. I urge you, then, be imitators of me. That is why I sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church.

Philippians 3:14-17 ESV

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained.  Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-7 ESV

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night.

 Hebrews 6:9-12 ESV

Though we speak in this way, yet in your case, beloved, we feel sure of better things—things that belong to salvation. For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do. And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
